Poverty & Rural Homelessness

We believe homelessness and hunger are symptoms of a much deeper issue: Poverty. In rural southern Colorado, these issues are a daily reality for more than 20% of our population. Through client interaction, advocacy, policy awareness, and the support of our community, La Puente believes we have the tools to fight poverty and the stigmas surrounding homelessness and hunger!
